Description
A solid state, twin-track mono machine, the TK 121 was the lowest priced recorder in the Grundig range of 1971-72. Next up was its identical 4-track brother, the TK 141. Four watts of output drove a 7¾ x 4 inch internal speaker, maximum spool size was 5¾ ” and the recorder had a single operating speed of 3¾ ips. An illuminated moving coil VU meter indicated recording level.
Three slider controls were provided for playback volume, tone and record level while a large single selector lever operated all transport functions with an illuminated panel to indicate each function.
