Description

Top of the 1970 Grundig range for 1970, the TK 248 was solid state, 4-track stereo recorder, designed to meet DIN 45500 standards. The 248 Hi-Fi was a two-speed (7½ and 3¾ ips) machine allowing either vertical or horizontal operation and had a seven inch reel capacity. Three heads were incorporated into the design,
permitting echo and multi-play effects. Other features included automatic recording level and auto-stop. Audio output was 4 watts per channel into two 7 x 3¼ inch bass and two 5 x 3 inch treble internal speakers.
