Description

A half-track, single speed (3¾ ips) mono recorder with two heads (erase and record/playback). The drive mechanism consisted of an outer rotating cage split-phase induction motor and capstan with rubber pressure roller.The TK 5 had a single speaker built in to the cabinet, a three digit tape position indicator and an automatic stop mechanism utilising metal sensing foils.
