Description
This was a clone of the Philips EL3586, made under license and marketed by Hornyphon for the Austrian market.
An upgrade of the WM4100, it was a single speed (1ips)
half-track recorder, fully solid state with a 4″ reel capacity (with lid open, 3″ reel capacity with lid closed).
The fairly simple transport controls consisted of three keys on the head
block (rewind, play and fast forward) and one record button on the right
of the headlock which worked in conjunction with the play button.
