Description
The Proline 2000TC was a
professional mono/stereo two-track studio mastering machine using ¼ -inch
tape. Two tape speeds were provided in three separate configurations.
3¾ & 7½ ips, 7½ & 15 ips or 15 & 30 ips.
Features included full logic transport, twin dc servo controlled capstans
with crystal reference, D.C. reel motors with variable tape spooling,
constant tape tension in all modes, dump edit facility, LED tape timer,
NAB/DIN switchable EQ, plug-in open face head block and modular electronics,
remote control and various ‘broadcast’ control panel options for TV, radio
and recording studios.
