Description
(also known in the USA as Norelco Continental 101)
Another recorder from the collection of Stuart Blacklock, this little battery portable would have
made an “ideal” Christmas present in 1964. A single speed (1 7/8ips) half-track recorder, this machine was suitable for recording broadcasted programs, and when new, came with plugs to fit into certain Philips TV’s.
The fairly simple transport controls consisted of three keys on the head block (rewind, play and fast forward) and one record button on the right of the headlock which worked in conjunction with the play button.
