Additional Details
Description
Philips was attempting to
make inroads into the semi-professional market in the late 70’s and early
80’s.
This recorder had three of everything: motors, speeds and heads and was
equipped with a Dynamic Noise Limiting (DNL) which was single-ended (playback
only) and in no way comparable to the more expensive Dolby NR system.
Other features were A/B monitoring, mixable line/mic inputs, maximum
7″ reel capability and a four-digit index counter.
