This was a quarter track stereo recorder with internal power amplifiers and monitor speakers. A single motor was employed for all transport functions and the maximum reel size was seven inches. It was identical to the Akai M-8 recorder and had the crossfield bias system.
As this recorder is identical in every way to the Akai M-8 except for the Roberts
logo.
