Description

Sold by the Sears Roebuck Company, both the 1234 and the 2234 (1962) were quarter-track, single
motor domestic recorders with two tape speeds (7½  and 3¾ ips).

There doesn’t appear to be any difference between the 1234 and the 2234,
both could record and play back quarter-track mono tapes as well as play
back pre-recorded quarter-track stereo tapes.
