Description

First released in 1959, this Austrian-made half-track battery portable had two speeds (3¾ and 1 7/8 ips), two motors and a maximum reel capacity of 4″.

Four standard 1.5V batteries gave between 30-100 hours of operation (depending on type of use) and there was a battery indicator as well as a magic eye record level indicator. Power output was 600mW into an internal 4-inch speaker. other features included a counter, pause control, push-button operation and straight through monitoring.
