Description
The series 3000X was first released in 1970 and sold until 1973. It was available in either half
or quarter-track versions and had four heads (erase, record, play and cross-field bias), a single motor and three playing speeds.
No internal amplifier or speakers were provided, making this a deck-only recorder.
Horizontal or vertical operation was possible and features included AB test switch, Sound-on-sound, single-lever operation for tape transport, audible cuing, 4-digit tape counter and specifications better than DIN 45,500
