Description
The M97 & M98 were stereo tape recorders with three speeds, a single motor, two heads and a seven inch reel capacity. Two P.M. 10″ x 3″ oval speakers were supplied, one inside the recorder at the front and the second in the removable lid.
The M 97 was a quarter-track mono or quarter- track stereo with sound on sound effects available. The M98 was a half-track stereo version. Automatic end of tape stop was achieved by metallic foil at each end of the tape.
