Description

The TP-708 was a two-speed, two-track mono portable mains and battery recorder with a 500mW output and a 2.5 x 4″ speaker.
Controls consisted of record, rewind, stop and play (no fast forward was provided)
Other features included large rotary volume control, remote jack (for microphone-mounted on/off function), mic jack, aux. jack, external speaker jack and level meter for recording control and battery level.
Maximum spool size was 5″ and tape speeds were 1 7/8 & 3¾ ips.
