Description

This was a two-speed (7½ & 3¾ ips) quarter-track stereo recorder with a 7″ reel
capacity, four glass & crystal ferrite heads and automatic and manual
reverse (playback only).
The transport comprised three motors. an AC servo motor for direct capstan
drive and two Eddy-current outer rotor reel motors.
Other features included automatic stop, tape selector switch, expanded
VU meters, dual monitoring and line/mike mixing.
