Description

A simple, two-speed (3¾ & 1ips) mono recorder, the Ferguson 3202 (quarter-track)
and 3200 (half-track) fell squarely into the ‘budget’ category and were one of the few recorders of this type to actually utilise their own tape deck mechanism.
Features included stereo playback through external amplifier, track to track recording synchronization, automatic stop/start by voice or signal, slide projector synchronization, superimpose facility, auto stop at both ends of tape and an ‘electron-beam’ record level indicator.
