Additional Details

Description

These were battery powered single speed (17/8ips) mono record/playback machines with a maximum reel size of 2″.
They had a single input and a specially designed output using contact points. Features included fast forward and rewind, digital-type tape index counter,
built-in speaker and amplifier and provision for remote control foot pedal.
The 101-S was the same as the 101 but recorded tapes could be replayed on single-track machines.
An unusual feature was that tape played from right to left.
