Description
A mid – range quality portable recorder with a constant speed of 3¾ ips.
Like many of the battery-powered transistorized recorders of the late 1950s – early 1960s it still utilized a valve “magic eye” level meter (in this case a DM71).
A 250 milliwatt output into a permanent magnet 3½” (85mm) speaker did, as you would not be surprised to learn, not impart a particularly “musical” sound, however it was adequate for modest reproduction
needs.
