Description

The TK 16 was a smaller
version of the TK 830/3D, having a 5¾”
reel capacity and tape speeds of 1
& 3¾ ips (the TK 830/3D took up to 7″ reels and played
at 7½ & 3¾ ips.)
Like the TK 830/D, it was a single motor, half-track mono recorder with
two record/playback heads and two erase heads for bi-directional recording
and playback.
A remote foot control accessory was available.
