The TK 19L was a half-track mono, single speed recorder with a maximum reel capacity of 5¾” inches.
Features included a fully automatic recording system which set the input signal to optimum level for ‘worry-free’ recording while at the same time maintaining maximum dynamic range. This automatic system could be overridden and the EM84 magic ribbon recording level tube used in conjunction with the record level control.
Other features included auto-stop (with foil).
It appears that the TK19L was made for the local market only and was not available in the UK or USA.
The TK 23L was very similar but with two tape speeds.
