Description
A portable, half-track mono machine powered by 6 “A” cells, car battery or AC. It offered two tape speeds, (1 7/8 and 3¾ ips) and a frequency response of 50 – 9kHz and 50 – 13kHz respectively.
This was an entirely solid state piece of equipment with 11 transistors (OC306, 4 x OC304, OC 18, AC116, 2 x AC117, AC121 & TF78), two germanium diodes (OA 70 & Z8K) and two selenium rectifiers (E125C 40 & B30C600).
Maximum playing time was 2 x 120 minutes on an 11 cm (4½ inch) diameter reel of tape (600ft).
