Description
A dual-track, dual speed recorder with a single heavy-duty motor, the Masco 37 series took up to 7″ reels and had separate inputs for microphone or phono. The 37R model had a built-in radio from which recordings could be made. The push-button speed changer automatically adjusted equalization.
Outputs included an extension speaker (8-16 ohms) and an external amplifier (500 ohms). An internal 6 x 9″ speaker was driven by a 5-watt amplifier. A neon record level indicator gave a peak level reading and the unit was
finished in two-tone tweed and calf-trim “fibrinoid”.
