Description

A portable battery/mains,
full-track mono recorder available in either a two speed version or single
speed version. The single speed version (IS-L) operated at 19 cm/s (7½ ips) whilst the two speed version (IS-LT) had the additional speed of
9.5 cm/s (3¾ ips).
Transport consisted of three servo-controlled motors which enabled fast
forward/rewind (unlike earlier Nagras) and the recorder had a maximum
reel size of 127mm (5″).
