Description

An attractive twin-track mono recorder from the Bremen firm Normende, the 1958 Titan had a 7″ reel capacity and two speeds (7½ & 3¾ ips).
Separate bass and treble controls were provided for playback along with a single-ended ECL82 three-watt amplifier and no less than three built-in speakers (one main and two tweeters).
Record level was indicated via an EM840 magic ribbon tube.
Price when new in Germany was 739 DM.
