Description
The PR 99, a Semi-Pro Recorder, was designed as an affordable Studer for the upscale consumer or as many were sold, as a nice 2nd tier machine for serious studios. Often compared to the B77 consumer machine, the 99 was not sonically superior, according to many reports. But it sold really well.
The following configurations were the most popular and an option for butterfly heads was a good upgrade. (Mono full track versions were also available)
