Additional Details
Description
A stereo auto-reverse tape deck with two speeds (7½ and 3¾ ips), four heads (erase, record, forward play and reverse play) and a 7″ reel capacity.Completely electrical control over switching tape speeds, changing tape direction and modes, auto reverse and shut-off functions ensured a very high level of tape protection. Other features included extra large contourless heads, three precision motors including a 6-pole capstan drive (belt) , a heavy, die-cast tape transport base and a three-stage EENF type playback equaliser amplifier.
