Description

The Schaub-Lorenz 5005 was a console unit that combined the unique tape recorder, a turntable and four band tuner (FM, Longwave, Shortwave & UHF) Curiously this more expensive model was mono not stereo which the more popular 5001 was.
126 tracks on the 10 cm four-inch magnetic tape. Each track was 22 minutes and the mechanism was running at a tape speed of 11 cm/s. Four loudspeakers were mounted in the cabinet.
