Description

The TC-101 was a portable, transistorized, compact mono half-track tape recorder with two speeds (7½ & 3¾ ips), a built-in amplifier and 6″ x 4″
speaker. Although an entry-level machine it could take 7″ reels.
Features included mike & line mixing, VU meter and pause control. Drive was by a single motor and the recorder utilized the standard two head design.
Inputs were provided for mike and radio as was an output for a 15 ohm external speaker.
The recorder was supplied with a Sony F-7 dynamic microphone and retailed for $US 97.50.
