Description

The 800B was a high quality battery/ac two-track, mono recorder with servo-controlled four speed transport, a maximum reel size of 5″ and an inbuilt electret condenser microphone. It was developed from the TC 800 of 1967.
Frequency response at 7½ ips was 30 – 18,000 Hz and the power output
was 1 watt into the inbuilt 8 ohm, 3″ x 6¼ ” speaker.
Battery life was advertised as being up to 6½ hours in continuous recording.
