Description

A solid state, quarter-track tape deck with three motors, auto reverse and four heads, the auto-reverse version of the A-1200.
Features included push-button control and mixing facilities for microphone and line inputs. The design incorporated separate preamplifiers for recording and playback, enabling ‘off-the-tape’ monitoring whilst recording. Speeds of 3¾ and 7½ ips were provided and the maximum reel size was 7 inches.A remote control unit was available.
