Description

Top-of-the-line of the final series of the 1970s, the Teac A-7400 RX outsold the very similar A-7300 RX by a significant margin as they were essentially the same but this one had an extra 1/4 track playback head. Teac Was just getting warmed up to the idea of taking one great design and multiplying it over many different models, with different features. The early 1980s X series decks would take that make as many models as you can concept to a new level. The A-7400 was very similar to the A-7300 (2 models), Teac/Tascam 25-2 and A-7300 RX as well as the Ampex ATR 700, but this was the best of the bunch.
