Description
This battery powered 3-head portable recorder, with ‘off-tape’ A/B monitoring is STILL being sold today, after more than 20 years of production! The Report monitor offers four tape speeds (7½ , 3¾ , 1 7/8 and 15/16 ips), a 5″ reel capacity and a perspex dust cover. The design is reminiscent of the Nagra 4.
Two versions are available – the two-track 4200 and the four-track 4400. Recording options are multiple. Independent ‘rec I’ & ‘rec II’ inputs with a master control. ability to record in 4-track stereo, (2-track on the 4200) or Chan I/Chan II independently and the ability to be used for film soundtracks, (one channel serving to carry sync tone).
