Description
The deBE 1000 was designed to perform under the most exacting conditions and was built on precision reinforced aluminium castings. All electronic modules and logic boards were made from glass fibre and plugged into gold-plated edge-connectors.
Equalisation was switchable between CCIR and NAB.
The open face plug-in head block was designed with ease of editing in mind. Soft solenoid actuated band brakes allowed easy hand movement of tape and the ‘edit’ button allowed audible location of material during fast wind. The straight-line tape path made for speedy tape threading
