of North Cahuenga Boulevard, Los Angeles described this recorder as a
” Hi Fidelity monaural recorder with push button controls, 3 speeds,
varisync flutter-free drive motor, dynamic microphone, cue and edit button
and audio sync accessory for home movie sound.”
This was a dual track recorder of hybrid design (solid-state preamplifiers
and valve power stage plus magic eye level indicator) although the word
“Transistorised” was boldly emblazoned on the top front panel.
