Description

A spectacularly musical tape recorder that will compete with all the best machines produced in Europe. The transport may not have the finesse but the sound quality will win you over. All of these machines in original condition, will need to be reconditioned and can be done at a cost of approximately $1000 from Chuck Z in Florida. Crown dealers usually stocked a few of the most popular models but made customers aware that they had a vast array of options. You could order these in mono, stereo, 4 channel, 2 track, 4 track, 3 heads, 4 heads with a Different PB head (pictured and rare) and many other options. RP-3 preamplifiers were part of the package. Earlier versions of the C Decks featured metal head covers.
