Description
A semi-professional half-track mono recorder with 7″ reel capacity and a single speed of 7½ ips.
Frequency response was quoted as being 65Hz – 9kHz ( 3dB) with wow & fluuter at 0.2%.
Output power was 4.5 watts and a total of nine valves were used.
Inputs were provided for microphone and radio/pickup, and outputs were provided for an external amplifier and extension speaker.
The G250 was later developed into the more economical two-speed model G252.
