The TK 220 was one of the first of the new styled, updated Grundig range.
It was a basic machine, half-track mono with two speeds (3¾ and 7½ ips), two heads, a single motor and a maximum reel size of 7″ (18cm).
The machine was also equipped with an automatic recording level and limiting (which could be manually overridden).
