Description

The RS-760S was a solid state 4-track stereo recorder, three speeds, auto-shut-off, sound-on-sound, digital position indicator and 7″ reel capacity. Two VU meters were provided for record level monitoring and each channel had its own volume and tone controls. Transport functions were controlled by a large rotary control seen on the right-hand side of the recorder giving rewind, stop, play, record and fast forward.
There were two inbuilt 6″ x 4″ speakers, mic and radio/phono inputs and outputs for preamp, external speaker and headphones. From the 1969 Allied Electronics catalogue,
