Description

Towards the end of 1955 Pentron introduced a new range of two speed, half-track
mono recorders which departed from the dual transport control system of earlier models like the 9TC and HT-225. These new recorders had a single control knob for all functions and were given the names “Clipper”, “Pacemaker” and “Emperor”.
The Pacemaker T-90 was the middle of the range at $189.50. It had a ‘Unimagic’ single lever for play, record, fast forward and fast rewind plus a magic eye recording level indicator.
