Reviews

My machine is an A-3300SX-2T. I purchased it through Craigslist and drove it directly to Adrian's Pro-Audio for service. I had the record and playback heads replaced and the machine serviced. I have only ran this machine a few hours since getting it back so I am still formulating an opinion. Regarding playback, I have played the Ballfinger 15ips sampler (from Analogy Records) and am pleased with the output quality of the sound. I definitely feel the beauty of the tape sound vs digital.I have tried recording using the microphone input jacks on the front panel at both 71/2 and 15ips. I recorded a Middle Eastern stringed instrument called the Ud. I was pleased with the recording at 71/2 ips. However, the recording at 15 ips sounded so much better. I plan to run my A3300SX-2T much more in the near future and to hopefully be able to update this review.
