Elizabethan (EAP) produced reel to reel tape recorders from 1958 to 1971 which were manufactured in the United Kingdom. These tape recorders targeted the consumer market. The early models of Elizabethan (EAP) tape recorders used tube electronics and later on they transitioned to solid-state tape recorders. The company produced 2 and 4 track reel to reel machines with 110-120 voltages for the North American market as well as 220 to 240v for the European tape recorder enthusiasts.
